It is our great honor and pleasure to invite you to the 11th International Thymic Malignancy Interest Group Annual Meeting (ITMIG 2020), to be held on October 8 – 10, 2020, in Warsaw, Poland.
ITMIG is the foremost international gathering of multidisciplinary experts, which promotes clinical and basic science about thymic and other mediastinal malignancies and related conditions. It is an association for medical and radiation oncologists, thoracic surgeons, diagnostic radiologists, pathologists, pulmonologists, neurologists and basic science researchers.
The ITMIG 2020 Annual Meeting is a unique opportunity to share the latest knowledge about advances of diagnostics and management of thymic and mediastinal diseases, and is the perfect occasion to exchange opinions and ideas, and network with researchers from all over the world.
The organization of the ITMIG 2020 Meeting will be co-hosted by the Polish Lung Cancer Group (Polska Grupa Raka Pluca, POLGRP), a Polish multidisciplinary organization for clinicians and researchers that specialize in thoracic malignancies. National conferences organized by PolGRP are well known for their highly educative character, which is greatly appreciated by both health care specialists and patients.
The ITMIG 2020 Meeting will also uniquely feature a special Workshop for Pathologists encompassing all important topics concerning thymic epithelial tumors and other mediastinal conditions. Lectures will be richly illustrated by presentations of microscopic slides. The Workshop will be endorsed by the European Society of Pathology and the Polish Society of Pathologists (Polskie Towarzystwo Patologów).
The organizers of the ITMIG 2020 Meeting will apply for accreditation of the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®).
In October 2020 we invite you to Warsaw, to attend the ITMIG Meeting and to admire Warsaw in colors of a gold, Polish autumn. Warsaw, located in the center of Poland, with its multiple international and local connections is a particularly convenient city for both foreign and local guests.
